just a thought about this rape thing.. i feel like in japan, this kind of ‘rape’ trope is so common (sadly) in lots and lots of their porn or even in dramas (i.e in fiction). more often than not, the rapee often says “stop” at the beginning, but ends up enjoying the sex in the end. (but SOMETIMES, /note the emphasis on the sometimes/ the ‘rapee’ says “だめ” which may be translated to “stop” but だめ is not really asking the other person to stop, but is often said when the person is feeling good lol. BUT in this case, it was rape). i guess what i’m trying to say is, if you’re going to read mangas, chances are, you’re going to see lots of these. the people who write these seem to enjoy seeing a person who’s unwilling at first, slowly become willing. it personally makes me feel uncomfortable, but its such a huge part of their fiction culture (? sorry idk what to call it) that i doubt we’ll start seeing less of it soon.
