Another theory that I think Yamato's father did was a driver for bad people? ╮(￣▽￣)╭
What I understood was that Yamato's father was Misaki's parents' driver. He had a seizure while driving them around and provoked an accident where they died... and from one single panel I think he went to jail for a while(?
