You do realise Griffith was endlessly tortured for quite a long time, right?
I know he we tortured for a long time and a lot of things happened both physically and mentally but I still think he shouldn't have sacrificed his friends I would have accepted him sacrificing everyone of the Band of the Hawk.If he had not raped Casc and forced Guts to watch that had nothing to do with getting himself a new healthy body but was a way to get revenge on Guts for leaving his side and beating him in a fight and revenge on Casca for falling in love with Guts and her telling Guts that Casca couldn't leave with him with Griffith being in his weakened state.So he did that out of spite

Yeah I would have been defending Griffit saying he was weak and broken both mentally and physically when he choose to Sacrafice the Band of the Hawk. However screwing Guts and Casca over that went over the line for me
Yep Griffith screwed it up when he slept with Charlotte the bastard knew what he was doing which led to the downfall of the Hawks which led to his torture hence it is his fault #Griffithdiddosomethingwrong.(〜￣△￣)〜
It is theorised that he did that as means to also sacrifice the two people who meant the most to him. That and to assert dominance, since both were stronger than him.
I am so pissed off at what he did to Casca and Guts that I want the result of his finale battle with Guts to be him being forced out of his Femeto form and in his weakened state and having him die like that like F*** YOU (︶︿︶)＝凸 your not going out as aGod Hand but as a weak human so screw your ambitions
