exactly, like why did he become an asshole when michiru got kidnapped so long ago and isn't basically transforming back at all? At a crucial time like that why wasn't he doting on his favorite family gender member. And his explanation later made no sense.

Well, the art was great of course, it was nice to see characters from other series too, but tbh this manga could have been more so it was frustrating at the end. The plot was not really well written and i have been waiting for a little something between Kuroe and Kagetora. It's too bad because the characters were promising but she didn't put enough effort into them.
And yeah, if you read the Kuroneko series you kinda expect some sexual tension which was not the case here.
