As for my own opinion about her, well... I don't think she means any harm. She's a girl who has a crush, and everyone can be a little reckless when they have a crush. Love is dangerous, hello? I don't view her as a villain so much as an awkward side character, and I feel bad for her. But seriously, until we see more, I really think she's harmless and in love, and she doesn't know what to do about it. I'm sure she wants to stay friends with YuYang, and that's okay if she doesn't continue with the romantic route. I don't feel at all angry or violent towards her, because there's no need to feel that way. She's doing things wrong, but she is obviously not purposely being harmful. She just (most likely) doesn't know how else to go about things.

I agree everything you said, with one exception (so, not everything XD). It’s the “She had absolutely no right to pull on YuYang’s arm” that I have mixed feelings on. If she was not a close friend, then, yes, she’s crossed the line. You don’t touch someone like that. It can be seen as agressive and be viewed as a possible act of violence (If a stranger grabbed your arm, you’d think they were going to harms you, right?).

But, she’s his friend. A friend she can see that is clearly upset about something. You’d hug a friend or try to get them out of their ‘funk’, right? That’s what I saw this poor girl trying to do. She likes him, knows that there is no hope of them being together, and is punishing herself by wanting to be there for him.

I just seriously hope she stay’s in the role of being a good friend, and doesn’t turn into the stalking, ‘if I can’t have him no one will’ hoe we always see in manga when a girl decides to go after a seme or uke.

Ummmmmm.. you guys do know that the girl who asks him to hang out with her at the swimming pool isn't the same girl right? THAT girl is named Zhou ying while the girl who's in love with YuYang is Jian Yu. AND pulling someone's arm like that wasn't bad at all; she's always been a little close with Yuyang, at least in her mind and plus he hangs out with her quite a lot cuz he's nice. Saying someone has no right is really up to the person who has that happen to them. In addition, she clearly stated that when she was in a bad mood, YuYang would tell her to hang out with friends because that might cheer her up a little so she said it back to him. Asking him to do tedious stuff isn't all that bad considering YuYang is practically super nice and was willing to meet up with her. Yeah in hindsight all these things might be rude but honestly, she hasn't manipulated him like other female characters have and most of the stuff she does is quite genuine. She does like him but that doesn't mean she's a bitch just cuz she wants to hang out with the person she likes. People have to take into perspective the situation. Obviously everyone has an opinion but clearly everyone is taking this to the extreme extreme by being super biased, looking at it at only their POV, not even in YuYang's or Jian Yu's.

I do think the OG poster is in the wrong for being so obviously malicious towards her, when she's clearly a harmless character, and I do agree with you that a lot of yaoi readers are incredibly biased against female characters. She does seem like an actual friend, albeit slightly annoyin', and YuYang doesn't seem to really be bothered by her t h a t much. I just think we don't have enough information to go on yet before we can really declare her position in all of this. BUT FOR NOW, I DECLARE HER AS HARMLESS. You guys keep making comments saying that they aren’t close friends and while they may not be super close, they are obviously pretty good friends? Like, they have overlapping friend groups/friends that know each other too, so some of the assumptions y’all are making about her not even being close to him (and therefore shouldn’t be able to do some things) are wrong??
