SEME

I know many were turn off with the seme’s handling of things. being possessive. but he is not a rapist type of a seme. more like,he wanted the uke to be his in his own world.

its more like: he knew that the uke has so many ties to different people and he doesnt like that. he knew that the uke is falling apart - he didnt like that.

reading/ seeing the raws - it seems that what he wants is for the uke to be his and be at peace at the same time. the way he shows his love is very ‘out of the ordinary’ but as you can see he didnt rape the uke nor force the uke in any humiliating manner that will show his twisted mind.

many seme’s uses underhand tricks and words even without chaining their uke - but this seme uses chain as a means of ‘freedom’

its more like reading deep into the psychological frame of the uke.

i know many were not into the seme’s way. as he was raised in a different environment, but to someone so selfish and possessive he was not a psycho who rapes his victims.

he is fixated only to the uke.

he wanted the uke in his own pure world.

at the last few pages:

uke: “if i promise i will stay you will take off the chain?”
seme: “yes.”

just that conversation we will see that the seme is not some kind of a twisted psychopath.

sorry, its hard for me to explain it, but i hope some will not take the situation in a different proportion.

what i was doing all the time to understand the situation is to be at both of their shoes. seme and uke.

Idk-I feel all that... And really appreciate him not raping our uke...but... I can't cheer our seme on with this... Even if I wanted to. No matter how pretty we can make it sound-you don't imprison someone you love. It has to be another sane way to get through to our uke. I guess for me when it starts off like this it's harder to believe that their happiness is real in the end. The "love" always feels forced afterward.

But I CAN still read this because he isnt being sadistic &/or raped him. Will wait and see what happens!

    cool!

thanks for reading my comment :) it was nice of you.

i think the answer lies on the upcoming chapters.

i really like a manga with depth in each character and with their own circumstances.

Um the majority of people try to see it from the abuser's shoes not the victim's. What the people on here are doing is the opposite for once and you want them to go back to giving the abuser the benefit of the doubt. Since you can NOT give BOTH the abuser and the victim the benefit of the doubt. Besides you're missing the point. It doesn't MATTER if the seme was doing it for the other guy's sake. After all what you didn't seem to read was what the uke said AFTER he asked if it was okay to remove the chains if he promised to stay and the seme agreed. He asked Ayumi why he didn't say that BEFORE he put the handcuffs on? And the seme shrugged as if to say that was immaterial. Um NOPE.

Sorry Ayumi asked CHIAKI why he didn't do that before putting the handcuffs on.

Um... Victim and abuser? Of what? Being scared for like 2 seconds? Yes, it wasn't a healthy way of expressing his feelings, but while the method came across shady the emotions and intentions were pure. He's like a child, he wants Ayumi so he tried to hold him there, but also doesn't mean any harm so he lets him swim and even agrees to take the chain off with just a promise. I honestly think it's just that his perception of reality is a little skewed when it comes to social interaction. He doesn't realize what he did was "bad".
