yea, i agree. its pretty pedo-like regarding 'mental' age. i think oto is too dependent on naru, so he acts more childish with him. we haven't seen his interaction with others yet though, he could just want to be spoilt by naru and subconsciously act more innocent. plus he isn't developing like his peers because he isn't interacting with them, so he doesn't have much experience with what kids go through to grow.
That is true, we haven't seen how he acts with others. He does also mention that he is socially an outcast, its just too much to me though, he's literally a child mentally and i don't feel like simply not talking to classmates would be THAT bad. I was pretty antisocial myself, i really only had one friend i'd hang out with everyday and i can't see that as realistic. Naru is manipulative, but he's also caring, he stopped mid-way during sex with Oto because he said the finger hurt and just let Oto cum, he didn't get to. It seems like he really cares for Oto, but he is desperately in love and it clouds his judgement every once in a while. A "fuck it, it's worth it" kinda thing. I don't like how they're portraying Oto, it's not that he's just innocent, the manga makes him child-like and makes Haru mature. It's reminiscent of pedophilia, but if you look in the flashback they aren't that far apart in age. It shows them both as toddlers next to each other, if Haru was much older he would've looked like a kid next to toddler Oto, but he also looks like a toddler. It seems Haru just grew a lot and Oto doesn't grow very much? Honestly, you can see the child-like way of think Oto has is intentional, he's old enough to cum, but doesn't have basic sex ed? Not even just the lack of knowledge, he thinks like a child too, he thought Haru was mad at him for looking at porn mags so he went home and cried before apologizing like he did something bad the next day... It'd be interesting if Oto were actually manipulating Haru too, letting him think he acts that way and jumping into bed with Haru to give him the opportunity to make a move. -fingers crossed-
