The fire was lit with kerosene???????
If I made anachronistic mistakes like that in MY stories, every publisher in the country would laugh themselves to death... Obviously Japanese publishers aren't as picky... still... kerosene, in Ming Dynasty China? XD XD XD

Excuse me? I think you are the one who need to learn more about history before criticizing others. The Chinese have made use of petroleum and kerosene for lighting lamps and heating homes apparently as early as 1500 BC. Although the way to process petroleum and kerosene were still pretty crude. There are some ancient kerosene lamps found which dated during Ming Dynasty as well.

Such a smartass who think you are smarter than everyone and always right. Just admit that you are wrong. Kerosene has been found to be used during Ming Dynasty. Didn’t you read what I have written? Just do your research!

depends on what you call "kerosene". And I don't think I'm smarter than everyone. People always make stupid assumptions about a person who writes a comment, based on what they write, and go way overboard on the rudeness. It's a total put-off.

Your original comment was a total put-off and also blatantly inaccurate. Kerosene was used in the Ming Dynasty, so there is nothing anachronistic about its inclusion in this story.
