let it develop - things are moving. at least we are getting to know different aspects of lihuan's personality. first, he really cherishes YuYang as a friends. second, he just made a new one! that's HUGE. and third, lihuan is more mature than we give him credit for. I LOVE that he wants to clear all of this up face to face. imo that's the best way to right any misunderstandings.

All of this could have been conveyed in a few chapters though rather than these short uploads which are just cliffhanger after cliffhanger. Tamen De Gushi and 19 days are also frustratingly long series where every chapter is short with the overall plot being drawn out, and I hope this series doesn't end up like those as they both are around 200 chapters, and nothing happens, the main pull factor is the pretty art!

art IS a huge factor in a manhua/manga/manhwa. otherwise read a novel/short story. in 32 chapters, we've had a lot happen. keep in mind this is slice of life. pacing is slower than a bang/smut story or a dramatic tragedy.
I am always a person that is open to following the author's leading. if you're not liking this, then fuck, write your own &/or read something else. obviously our comments (yours and mine) are subjective because they are opinions. But from a writer's perspective, this plot and the way it is progressing is not poor. it feels realistic, and it fits the slice of life genre perfectly.

Oh I care about art add much as I care about plot, but the problem here is the author created an interesting plotpoint and then made short short chapters of only making tallguy try to find out why he's blocked, which is not what I consider movement, rather stalling. Webtoon often have this problem because they're on contracts or such for a specific amount of chapters, so when the plot moves too quickly suddenly nothing progresses for some time. This had made me, unfortunately, drop webtoons before, because not everyone knows how to make stalling interesting.

Each to their own, but I feel some of the recent chapters could have been merged into one longer one as they are quite short and lacking in content. LiHuan making a new facial expression doesn't really deserve a new chapter which obviously takes time to be uploaded and translated. Hey, we are all fans of the series so no need to tell people to "fuck off" jeez.

it kind of sounds like webtoons may not be the best format for your reading pleasure. if that's so, I'd suggest either waiting till the series is completed (I've done this for certain manhwas like "Baker in First Floor", and it made the reading experience MUCH better), or read mangas / novels (if visual element isn't that important to you).

I think many here need to realize that each author has a style, that each story falls under a genre, and that ultimately we the readers have a choice as to how to consume the story, IF we even read it. If this is not your cup of tea, read something else. LiHuan is a very stoic character to begin with so to see a panel with a specific expression (that we hadn't seen before) IS important. the art is as important as the dialogue in a manhua/manga/manhwa.

But not all webtoons are like that though. I don't remember any names but I could point out at least five that I loved to follow because every chapter was genuinely interesting and brought something new. I prefer slow update/more content over the opposite every day, that's the only thing.
Baker I dropped because the characters were unnatural and it suddenly started focusing on some people I frankly disliked very much so that's because of my preferences with characters tho.

I have to read something before deciding whether it's good or not. duh. haha what a stupid thing to say.
You are literally saying nothing is happening, when there actually is. I responded to the criticism you gave the author's choice to develop this the way that they are. And I rebutted it. Then you decided to take it personally.
If there's a "war" as you say, then you're fighting yourself honey, because I definitely don't see this as a "war". if you want to continue bashing this manhua, go for it. But realize that the moment you write something publicly you'll very much likely get a response, especially when you made such a false remark saying that there's no progression in plot.
"write something yourself" is perfect comment/reply to people who are hellbent on criticizing an author. you think you can do better than djun? then do it! the world always needs more stories.

So you do hold the opinion that nothing should be critiqued? I could criticise One Piece for hours but it's still one of my favourite series ever, but I guess you and I differ on that point.
I answered your legit arguments with legit arguments and I answered your bs comments with bs comments what else do you want really?
I didn't take it personally, I'm just done with people saying that you gotta think something is perfect on order to have the right to even look upon it, people need to stop being such adoring fans.

Yes, I think 'Momentum" is a great example of a webtoon that is slice of life. Every chapter is meaningful and the characters don't seem stunted in their development either. But, hey maybe I'm too old and inpatient to think 30 odd chapters waiting for one character to smile or kiss is the most amazing thing ever. I feel like this series would be more ideal for those who are under 18.

Simple. You wrote something here - a public comment thread, I disagreed, thus I rebutted. Is there something you're not understanding? You are drowning in a glass of water, insisting to be so angry and fucking piqued just because people don't agree with you and tell you so.
This isn't about being an adoring fan, this is about being fair in literary appraisal. Your "critique" was that there isn't. And regardless of whether you liked it or not, there IS development in this story.

I love Momentum; it's one of my favorite manhwas. But you'd be surprised. In the same way you're not really into "here u are", some readers can't stand the pace of the other, especially the Phantom arc (I personally enjoy it - it's so angsty!). I guess people will always find fault when something goes down in a way they don't like..
imo I think its genre expectations. slice of life takes time. a huge reason momentum has gained momentum (haha pardon the pun) is because we had a huge number of chapters uploaded at a time. otherwise, it'd be a slow burn too though that author inserts sex into their story (which pacifies the impatience of some).

In regards to including sex, if it's done just as "fan service" then people do find criticism in it. But in the case of Momentum, all the characters are adults so, if anything it would seem odd and unrealistic if there wasn't any. I guess this is why this series seems a little stunted and reserved, almost as if it were conforming to censorship regulations. All the characters are over 18, yet reading this story you would think they were still 14 and in a high school setting. Momentum comes off as more realistic, especially considering some of the characters are the same age as the M.C's here. But each to their own, not everyone will like every aspect of something. I like the art in this series, but the plot can be lacking.

I did, and I expected to get fair arguments, and your delivered on that point too, but obviously you were the one who took clouds' critique way too close to heart. There is development here, you're right, what we're saying is it is pointless to have such slow development when chapters are too short and frequent. It gets frustrating to read. That is a fair criticism, and you rebutting it with "if you don't like it read something else/write your own" isn't especially intellectual nor objective. Nobody here said it was bad. Nobody here said slow development is bad. Were just saying it could be better executed. You can give your reason why it shouldn't be executed in another way or say why our criticism is irrelevant or anything else, or you can be offended. that's your choice man but just realise that nobody here was asking you to tell us to go read something else, k?
Is the author stuck? Nothing has happened for some time now.
