People here refuse to think about how serious the setting of the story is. I’m sure if anyone was in Siwon’s shoes no one would have acted any differently to everything’s that happened. I can’t dislike Siwon because of that. This isn’t some cheesy ass manhwa where the straight guy just throws himself into the gay world. This is a kid who has been told that being gay is wrong and that being himself is improper and abnormal. Jinha never gave Siwon time, he’s someone that Siwon was hurt by in his childhood so Siwon naturally tried to forget him so it wouldn’t hurt. Then Jinha shows up and is pushing his love on someone who’s been engrained with his societies idealized definition of ‘normal’. Just because someone loves someone it doesn’t mean the feelings have to be reciprocated. Frankly stories end too quickly because of that, we strive for the cheesy happy ending from an easy plot but here we don’t see that happening. The story bends to reality, not our reality, but the reality of South Korean culture. That’s why it’s such a big success in Korean and has continued to be.
Oh please. Stop putting Siwon's mistakes on Jinha. With or without Jinha, Siwon is a whole level of dumb on his own.
Siwon's character is so awful that fans can't even defend him on his own merit, they now resorted to put his shit on Jinha. Siwon is 23 years old, he is accountable for his shit.
He is not a kid. He is an adult. A grown up man. He is 23. If he acts like a child below the age of 10 is on him, not on Jinha. Or actually, on the author who insults everybody intelligence creating a 23 y old character who has the mental capacity of a 'kid' .

This shit drama of Siwon got old, it got repetitive and the author didn't know what to do with the characters but she didn't want to provide a quality, well rounded closure since she wanted to keep milking the popularity .... so she added the clusterfuck cheap shit that is now. And the Siwon's apologists, not having one real excuse for how this character is so dumb and stupid and annoying have no other alternative that start bashing Jinha --- the most pathetic character in this whole story because not only he never got developed into anything but a boring nagging dude who keeps begging for kiss from a guy who is not into him --- Jinha, on top of being humiliated as background and overshadowed by a new character, on top of getting no tender or sexy or any kind of chemistry with Siwon while the author poured shit between Siwon + creepy, on top of all that, this sad, pathetic MC still ends up being trashed and dragged by Siwon's apologist. I don't know which MC in this story is more pitiful. Probably Jinha because at least Siwon seems to be getting some action with the creep, even though he is an adult, gets treated as a little innocent baby who can't defend himself of even has the balls to own his own mistakes.

This is just an observation of your comment and others like it. Maturity is acknowledging other perspectives respectfully. You don’t need to agree but you should understand before you talk about your own perspective so you don’t end up looking incompetent. I don’t like this manhwa anymore than you probably do but I can respect that others have their own opinions and I don’t try to override an opinion by implying mine is more obvious, or common sense.
Siwon seems to have missed the memo that you don't freely get into a car with the man who raped your friend just because you want to gossip about your boyfriend. He's in his twenties attending university and living alone, he was deemed mentally fit to complete his military service yet at NO point, literally no point in this series has he shown the mental capacity you would expect from a healthy adult. He is selfish, he shows more loyalty and trust in the guy who abused him, his friend and his ex and blames everyone for his own faults with zero consideration to their feelings. His character isn't realistic, he also is made out to be a poor defenseless baby rather than an adult who is hurting others and making his own life challenged.

Fans are defending Siwon with the same old logic any fan trying to defend a poor character does .... they can't really justify his actions so the only alternative is to bring down the other character as so he doesn't look that bad by comparison. There is really no 'logic' or perspective to explain how an adult behaves and acts with the 'naive' mind of a child of below 10. Jinha or no Jinha, Siwon knows very well what Lu Xuan has done so it's beyond 'logical perspective' to explain why this adult man could again act like a defenseless child who needs adult supervision or he gets preyed upon. There is no excuse to explain why Siwon, who should be accountable for his own actions, have his mistakes put on Jinha's back.
All and all, we all think our personal opinions are more obvious, it's the nature of personal opinions but it's ironic that you grant yourself airs of superiority in intellect and miss the irony of your arrogant, self centered reply to me. Out of what I’ve seen most of the fans don’t even bother defending him and when someone does with actual facts people like you s**t on it and spout you stupid nonsense. If you had some more knowledge about South Korean culture then you can talk. Don’t go spouting nonsense just because you can’t even get close to even understanding his character.
He's obviously naive/dumb and it seems he gives people a little too much credit. I mean did y'all forget jinha practically assaulted siwon at one point but none of you were complaining about him eventually forgiving jinha and continuing to be around him. siwon has never accepted being gay, it's not that easy to accept your sexuality especially when you were forcefully outed. He still doesn't know his heart truly yet and he was thrust into the relationship because jinha was so passionate about him, he ended up being swayed without fully accepting his sexuality. Even though villain has done horrible things to siwon, siwon obviously couldn't help but jump at the smallest chance that he could get an update on jinha.
