It was a light hearted comment, but we do make assumptions based on the cover image. Given that the opening chapter was based on sexual assault, the following thumbnails didn't exactly give the impression that this series could be classed as "comedy".
You have read the raws, I haven't but going by your comment on them it seems it's the plot line is going to follow the ridiculous "fall in love with your rapist' trope, so it's not something I will bother reading. Each to their own though.
