Dude there trash and it’s so unrealistic sayaka and hikaru , sayaka is so messed up it’s hard to read she can never make up her mind she never stops crying , hikaru can’t stand him dude he literally hurt chihiro his whole life and when he found out the truth of all the things chihiro did he just said he was sorry and bla bla aNd did nothing . Honestly he’s trash and so is his girlfriend and in reality sayaka wouldn’t even be an actor she’d dead ass be made fun of if you saw someone talking to themselves on the roof
What else was Hikaru supposed to do after he found out about Chihiro besides apologizing? He has his own life, his own love. Chihiro understood that and supported him. There was nothing else for Hikaru to do, nothing for him to take responsibility for. It was Chihiro's unrequited love. How was that his fault? What do you think he should have done? Proclaim his fake love to her? No, she knew she wasn't the one he loved. She even almost decided to go with Shinobu but then the incident with Sayaka happened. Chihiro brought all of this on herself, and she made an effort to get out, but in the end she chose a struggling best friend over a new love. When she weighed which was more important, a childhood friend in suffering or starting a new love with Shinobu, we all knew she chose Hikaru.
I didn't like Sayaka after the time skip though. Her new personality is... bleh.

It's not his fault he hurt Chihiro. It's not like he knee she had a crush on him, she never even told him, that's like you're signing up for your own downfall.
