This comic

I've been following this comic since it debuted in lezhin, and I gotta say that from the very beginning I had a feeling that it was going to be one of the best ones out there. And I wasn't dissapointed. Really, I love the pacing, the developement, I love how we explore the character's past and their feelings are revealed like the puzzle pieces slowly coming together to form a picture. And their strong care for each other that even all those years of sabotaging their relantionship couldn't erase... I mean, you can say that Skyler still hates Yeonduk, but what about that time he beat the shit out of the bully for hitting Yeonduk and getting suspended himself? He cares for Yeonduk, even though he is trying to hate him, he still got furious when he got hurt. It really shows that Skyler's bad attitude was forced the same way Yeonduk forced himself to hate Skyler and erase all his good memories with him. It's just that Skyler is not in touch with his emotions the way Yeonduk is, probably because of his late developement as a child. Skyler feels betrayed and abandoned, so he decided to hate the one he thought was responsible for this - Yeonduk. But now if you reread the entire comic, you can pick up the slight nuances where Skyler shows genuine care, even though he tricks himself into believing he doesn't. Deep down he can't truly hate Yeonduk and deep dow he wants to care for him and be cared by him. Now all he needs is time. Like I said, Skyler is not in touch with his feelings yet, and it isn't easy to believe and accept that something he believed in for half of his life was a lie. Which I love. This is real. Not your typical BL cliche where both parties clear a 10 year misunderstanding in like 10 minutes and then they suddenly love each other again and go for sex the next instant. No. This takes time. You felt betrayed by your most loved person for years and now suddenly he says actually that was all a misunderstanding. It takes time to start trusting again, to start thinking - maybe they were telling the truth, to start racalling old memories and finding the inconsistencies in them. Please don't say things like "I can't wait for Skyler to taste his own medicine" or "I can't wait for next chapters where Skyler gets jelous because Yeonduk found other friends". Insted, we should say I can't wait for Skyler to realise that even though he's avoiding Yeonduk now, even though he was mean to him, even though Yeonduk can find new friends if he wanted to, Yeonduk still cares for him most and has Skyler's back at all times. I believe in next chapters Yeonduk will be keeping his distance from Skyler, while quietly watching over him from the sidelines. I can't wait for Skyler to realise the extent of Yeonduk's devotion.
