I just think it should never have been a thing it's ruins all the sweet romance you normally get and are replaced with constant saving woman, constant woman fighting it's just endlessly dull. Yup the amount of time I've wanted to through my phone with the woman plots in a harem it's why I avoid the genre if I want multiple woman I will go look for some 18+manga
Well the worst isn't the harem part with so many girl just for one dud,
The worst part is, most of the time, the girl personality are... either super annoying or like "without Prince Charming I can't even walk" ... some harem manga I read have strong female character that are independent and that the hero can count on, those I like!
Unfortunately there are way too many harem manga/novels and in the beginning I just ignored it, but the more I read this kind of garbage, the more annoying it gets. Do they think that the mc becomes cooler if he has more women? At least if you have a harem, bang them all. Otherwise it's just a bunch of annoying girls who do nothing important.
I do agree with Angel though, strong (not tsunderes who hit the MC without reason) female characters are at least enjoyable.
The tsundere that hit MC for no reason are probably the worst after blood incest in my "annoying female in harem" list XD
And yes! Having hundred of girls, even if he bang them all or not, with zero personality doesn't f*cking make the MC cooler (╬￣皿￣)凸

Sorry I rant so much in this topic, I was relieved I wasn't the only one feeling that way and complained too much .
Thankfully, there starting to be few isekai style manga without harem and with interesting plot....
Yeah, it's good to find someone who has the same view on harem. Like you said it doesn't have that deep and sweet feel like normal 1on1 romance
