The backlash against any realistic (ie non fluffy, I fucked my straight childhood best friend/step brother/teacher (take your pick) now he's gay and we will live happy ever after" depiction of couples is frustrating. Sort of how so many people demand characters be placed in "uke" or 'seme" roles too.
This manga is underrated. It gives me the impression that people hate to see a manga that contains realistic story that I feel like my neighbor's love story is being narrated here.
