um.. isn't that why the mother commited suicide? bc even tho it ain't the kid's fault, she still can't forgive the guy. the manga mentioned that only john fell in love. if the feelings were mutual, wouldn't they move to a different place and live happily ever after???
am I the only one who finds the relationship between her and the priest who raped her mom strange? even if the parents exchanged letters, the guy ends up falling in love, and he helps raise kawai behind the scenes doesn't means shit. idk, I just feel like what he did to kawai's mom doesn't make it ok to form a relationship with her later on......
