I guess but not to get all sad and stuff but the thing is I’m gay and both of my moms are against it WHICH DOESNT MAKE SENSE BC THEYRE BOTH GAY THEMSELVES but they have this mentality that gays can’t have a romantic relationship and only a sexual one which is honestly so fucked up. Basically they only acknowledge lesbians :/
Are you sure? Maybe they are afraid that you go through a lot of hardships like them? (I don't agree, just moms are sometimes very protective)
Mhm ofc I’ve thought about that but both of their parents had always been accepting of their sexual orientation right from the start. My main problem is they would talk badly of gay men right in front of me and my actual mom would always say out of nowhere how it would be great if I ended up with a girl. But I do think your right to a certain degree bc she thinks that gay men can’t have any “real” romantic relationship hence why she doesn’t want me to date a guy bc I’ll just get hurt it’s just so dumb she literally tells me that if I was a lesbian instead, she’ll be more than fine with bc unlike gay men, lesbians can actually find love. Afsggsh it just pisses me off
