I can actually see a thin like of the love-at-first-sight-but-noticed-it-too-late trope for Hyesung. He's more likely honest to the fault where he's blinded by his reasoning and not noticing Dojin's sincerity and love. And now comes the kid, bet you all Hyesung will fall in love with his baby way too much and would just have the "I-don't-wanna-leave" dilemma.
