Anton doesn't love Arwin at all. If anything, his mistreatment shows that he only wants to possess Arwin, and his only infatuation is due to his father's appreciation of Arwin.

But the moment he said the father was his first, even though I saw it coming (he was a prostitute after all) my heart just sank. I guess this story’s a little intense for me, and the fact that maybe Arwins in love with the dad breaks my heart for poor Anton
