I'm pretty much 100% sure MD is after DG's friend and not DG. The whole "that cute guy at the store" flashback showed the friend standing behind DG. And the friend was all "I think I'd like bondage" earlier, too. My guess: MD's getting close to DG so he'll have an in to proposition DG's friend.
