Agreed. It felt kinda rushed or half-assed even.
Despite being such a good story, interesting from start to finish at that, it felt kind of dull in the end. Somehow gave me a vibe like all those webcomics I've read that got a quickly made-up ending just so the author could move on to the next project. :/
They mention the whole situation with the half brother and him deceiving everyone from the start in the last episode like it was nothing, no dealing with it, no angst about it, no showing of the other secret half brother, no talking about the previous deaths in the family after finding out it was the half brothers and not their father, the past of the uke was barely grasped and a very rushed character development for him, they weren't shown talking about his feelings and figuring things out.
That epilogue of them moving on with their lives, selling the house, changing the his name back and them being together, as well as the uke's recovery should have been an entire episode me thinks xD

Absolutely! I don't understand why so many authors (be it manga, anime or just webcomics of any sort) bring in actual plot and interesting twists and turns just to end up ignoring them. It's bothering me a TON when that happens, especially if it's such an important detail in the plot and would trigger a reaction of some sort at least. I mean, I understand that they just want to forget and all that, but even with that sort of thinking the author should have put in a conversation and not just a handful of text bubbles. Especially with an ending, just like you said, there needs to be some effort put into it to show emotions and how things happen, not just mention them in one pannel and then be done with it. That makes things look half-assed and often feels unfitting for a story if the rest was well written and detailed to some extend.
This is basically one of the main issues I have with korean manga, there are many things they just don't put in because...of some reason that's not really clear. I'm just happy it wasn't like in the vast majority of korean works that leave out things right from the start. :'D
Well that was.. anti-climatic, kind of underwhelming. I'm still happy for them, tho
