It's fine if you think that, but i don't really think he IS. Was the "i'll leave if you don't masturbate" thing shitty? Yes. But what about the rest? He's very friendly and bubbly to everyone, he's really popular and is all-around nice. He befriends the lonely Oono without telling anyone about the delusions. I know you think he's scummy, so i won't say anything else here to try and sway you, but if you're open to the idea that he may not be as scummy as you think, you should look at my comment right above yours. I go into great detail to explain that scene in a way that you can look at the scene and see what i'm saying. I honestly feel like there have been many misunderstandings by A LOT of people in regards to the sex scene in ch 3. If you disagree that's fine. You can ignore me.

I agree about the GF thing, it is kinda shitty for the girl. The thing is, i kinda feel like he's only doing what is necessary to get Oono to face reality, both in the masturbation/sex scene in ch 3 and here with the GF in ch 4 that makes Oono jealous. I never got the idea that he has issues telling his delusions from reality, personally. Think about it, he seems pretty coherent during his delusions, he's able to imagine what Kureshima is saying AS he says it. He's able to hear Kureshima just fine. He also used to do his delusions in class, which means he felt a certain level of security in that he can pull himself out at any time and not get caught. If he was completely passed out/incapacitated during his delusions then why would he do them during class when he might get called on to answer or someone might talk to him? He must've felt confident he can handle his delusions.
