Agree, it's probably one of my favourites too. I think it's bold how the author has chosen to address the issue of trauma in a relatively realistic way, ie there is no "cure" or "fluffyness" but and people around him are cruel or apathetic. It will be sad when the series eventually ends (which hey could be in another 10 years), but it provide a more realistic and humane portrayal of the whole yakuza trope and an adult survivor of abuse.
Saezuru is my all time favorite manga to the point I would cry whenever an update released (yes true). I’m here not for just intense sex although IT WAS AWESOME, this manga provide more than that! Great storyline, character development, and the personality itself. If you have fluffy heart, then it’s not for you. We deal with tragic past and horrible life path, but to think this would be a great romantic story despite all those yakuza plot, it blows my mind! Yoneda Kou has class. Thanks Kayura, Lustfulcat and team for the translate, real heroes don’t wear cape!
