Omfl, yes! That is exactly what I thought Chiaki was trying to say but just too clumsy to express what he actually meant. I just couldn't figure out a way to say it myself.
Well, if you just look at the flow of the conversation from ch 3, pgs 17-20 you can see pretty clearly that is what he meant. I think what confused people was the translator's note on ch 3, pg 20 that said "so bj rape and sex rape aren't the same thing? #yaoi logic", this made people think that's what Chiaki was saying, but the dialogue is all there. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Yup. Now that I look at it again I think that's what's made me unsure of the whole point of what he was trying to say/less able to be convincing of what I believed he was trying to say.
I got the feeling that what he meant when he said "the problems aren't the same!" wasn't that his bj rape was "less" rape than what happened to Nachi, but that what Nachi did to him and Nachi being "allowed" to be upset about being raped aren't connected. I took from it that he was saying "it doesn't matter what you did to me or that rapist, you still have the right to be upset you got raped". Nachi was saying he didn't have the right to be upset about the rape since he invited the guy to sex first in the past and because he had done the same thing (he raped him) to Chiaki with that blowjob. On a side note: I see someone asking if the bj scene was rape, the answer is without a doubt yes. There is no argument here for it NOT being rape. Nachi had 2 people hold Chiaki down while he performed a sexual act on him while he was saying he doesn't want it. I'm not trying to sound mean, but how is this even up for debate? If it was Chiaki getting turned on and cumming that confused you, that was just a physical reaction, he protests the entire time and even looks hurt and tries to switch rooms after. Nachi sees that he hurt Chiaki with the rape and that's why he looks all shaken and tells the 2 to leave right after. Yes, without a doubt, no matter how you look at it, it was rape.
