also regarding military, it's not only there to protect the country from other countries, its there to protect the country from literally anything. Big disasters, monsters, even the countrys ppl themselves doing a rebellion. Its a suicide disbanding military in a such unstable country where ppl are not happy. Its like asking to come attack the royals to overcome the country.
