I also loved the happy parts, but I enjoy the interesting and a bit twisted aspect in the manga the most. Much more rare find than the happy-go-lucky stories! And this manga does have the tags "drama", "seinen" and "action" so in a way you were warned. :D
I guess its time for me to wait a decade b4 re-reading this bc i dont want to get to the angst section of the manga ;-; why cant there be a manga with JUST a happy story line?! does a story always need suspense? I say no. This used to be a story of a stupid useless gem who has now turned into a genius of sorts trying to defuse a (idk, can this be considered a civil?) war
