I really don't take it seriously ...

It never crossed my mind to think that "Arabs" are the way they are portrayed in the manga ... patronising ? Well, a great number of men ARE patronising, either gay or straight, right ?
And in this case, the moronic ukes are just as unbelievable - submissive and lovey-dovey even after they're raped.
These characters are not here to be believed or to be true to life. Maybe they respond to a kind of "sick" fantasy ??
I think we either like it, or hate it ... or just dismiss it altogether. Either way, I really don't intend to loose sleep over it. After all, it is just a manga, and not even classified as "historical" either ... >u<

Um you are one naive person if you think that you're not buying into the cliche this is ACTUALLY trying to sell you NOR if you don't realize that plots for stories are drawn FROM. REAL. LIFE. Oh that cliché you just fell for? Placing responsibility on the victim to not be raped rather than the abuser to not rape and thinking that only weak people can be abused. You don't understand how abuse, physical OR psychological, works DO you? Oops? Ktbn.

Please ... ! Don't oops and throw your psychoBS at me !!
Do you know me from Adam ?? Why should you decide that I don't understand abuse ? What I wrote is merely MY opinion about the manga and offends no one.
