i think because how he treats mo,(showing his love) in a weird way! so that's why they hate him cause he is somehow like a jerk type haha :p but i saw many people loving they're kind of realationship (me included more of the other 2)

I feel like he got more hated after the author paired him with Mo. Before when people thought he'd rival Xi for Yi people were mad hyped over it.
