Actually, i think it's more foreshadowing of the growth they will have. Since it's already evident that kamin has some issues, I believe the vibe this chapter is giving off is how kamin's low self esteem still gets the best of him and kanggo is a little sad he sees himself this way (saying he wants to be by his side and all) and how they'll both grow from this.
Idk if this is spoiler ish but some serious issues do come up and it gets a little angsty, but it doesn't interfere with their relationship. And don't worry, next chapter might make up for it!
Hm that chapter was so passive aggressive in a way... like it was supposed to be all cute and heart fluttering but there was just this vibe that kinda implied that something bad was gonna happen so I couldn’t really enjoy it... idk maybe it’s just me
