I get what you mean, his situation right really sucks, but he shouldn't take it out on Soohyun. He didn't do anything wrong to him and it isn't his fault the coach chose him because he's injured or that he's in love with the same guy as him. That's what I don't like about him, but I guess he's not a bad guy deep inside.

Yeah he's an ambitious teen, a closeted gay as well..he cannot confess cs he thinks it'll ruin his friendship with woojin. Most likely he met woojin through baseball too so i'm sure these two are very important to him. Now Soohyun looks like he just waltzed in and he got everything Jaejin wants, being roommate with woojin, win the matches...so what he'd done is pretty much natural..he can only vent his jealousy towards the source of it.
Some ppl mind that he get physical with soohyun but hey that's just boys are like...even their jokes look hurtful to girls..let alone macho men and athletes like them.
And rest assured that ofc soohyun is the one who'll end up with woojin hahah
in the middle of it, the thing that bother me the most is how much rude he is out of no where without even know for a fact the MC really in love with his so celled "love". it's like "I seen your eyes, I read your mind" LOL that shit don't work in the real world. second by acting like he is, he actually ruining all the team work to win. so yeas, it seem it dosn't really care that much about the team the way he act.

I feel sorry for Jaejin really.. idk why many readers hate him...i think his reactions here are pretty realistic for a high schooler..he's losing his place on the team bcs of his injury, sth he couldn't control...he loves baseball so much so it's natural he thinks of soohyun as rival..he also has a pride as a senior in the team, to be substituted by a newbie, it must've hurt his pride..now he also sees him as a love rival...sure it's childish of him but he feels he knows woojin much longer, yet this isn't unheard of...it's the logic of "if I can't have him then neither can you"
He maybe arrogant and immature, but he's not that big of a jerk so far...
