I really think you need to slow your roll on the rape thing. First, neither of the characters are kids. Second, if you recall from the earlier chapters the uke actually went after the seme without the semes consent as well; pulling his dick out, putting it in his mouth, and inside of himself. So the uke can also be thrown into the "rape" thing if thats what you are going after. Third, if you look at the raws which are posted up to ch23 on korean sites you will find out that he actually became pregnant when he sat on the semes dick and said " i want a baby", so he instigated that.

With that all being said this is a genre called omegaverse. Omegas and alphas have a pharamone complex that forces them to act without control, like an animal instinct. Because of this omegas are usually mistreated and treated as the lower of the human race. Or held in high regards because of their rarity, its just the way that the genre works and how the artist/and or writer decides to portray it. The whole concept is based on the will to reproduce.

These comics do have disclaimers so if you really aren't comfortable with a fictionalized world that deals with a component that forces characters agaisnt their will into reproduction then omegaverse is not for you.

I didn't call him a kid literally. It was a reference to how young he is, to how young they both are. Yes, that would totally qualify as rape, however, at any time, he could have pulled him off. He's an Alpha, and he got really into it. You quote "rape" like that's not what actually happened here but it is. Also, aside from this, going off of the omegaverse genre, which I know enough of, he was in heat, he can't be assumed to be in his right frame of mind. That was pure animal extinct, as you say.

As for the Alpha, he wasn't in a rut or anything that can be described as animalistic. He did it because he didn't want him to go and because he was jealous.

As an FYI, I am allowed to rant about what I like. I enjoy this manga and I love how these characters are together, which is why I disliked that he did this. I can ship these two and make a public service announcement about consent and rape. So quit being condescending because I will not be "slowing my roll on the rape thing". As a reader, I live for the angst but of course, ultimately want a happy, healthy relationship

Maybe but Dojin is not perfect either.Hyesung is very vulnerable now no matter how much Dojin offers him Hyesungs life is going to change forever and he is not the only responsible.Dojin was totally capable of refusing him and protecting himself but he didn't. There is a drastic difference between the two of them.They are not equal.Dojin is way bigger,taller,stronger.Hyesung can't protect himself.
Dojin is rich.He was born with the silver spoon by his family while Hyesung had to work hard and even so again he would nt had the same potential and chances for success same as an Alpha like Dojin.

Being involved with someone like Hyesung could actually be beneficial for someone as aloof egotistical and arrogant like Dojin who had always been negatively biased against omegas.Its a great chance for him to change mature.and revaluate the truly important things in life and humans and relationships.

To learn how to take care of someone,to be responsible, to love.
Those things he never knew before.He didn't care about those things before.
Dojin for the first time in his life he is acting like a responsible adult man.
Dojin is rich and overall super privileged compared to Hyesung.He has nothing to lose.Hyesung basically has no life anymore.What would his future be without any money or job?
He could use a bit of support.He deserves it.It wont trouble Dojin in any way,nor will it cost him anything significant.

Hyesung is doing what he can to reassure his future.His actions are totally human and understandable.
He is pregnant,forced in a situation he didn't chose.And neither of them has developed feelings of love for each other yet..And Hyesung knows that.Dojin hasn't showed him that he cares property yet.

So overall I'm not justifying anyone but I do understand both parties.

Preach it, babe, preach! He was never loved. He doesn't even have any real friends. He's going to do what he has to do. He is not a gold digger. If he was he'd be jumping into Dojin's at every chance to keep him happy. What did he do instead? He insisted on getting a job to pay him back. He's trying to leave and become independent so he doesn't have to rely on Dojin anymore. People like @Nyx need to check their facts ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

Neither are kids though, Hye-sun is in his twenties (someone in the comments earlier said 27), and Dojin is in his 30's. But I agree, Dojin is always physically in control and can and does over power Hye-sung, he raped him in order to make him pregnant and create a bond (usually they just bite the neck). It's an ethically problematic storyline to say the least, and the victim is being presented with little sympathy.

I think it will still stand because all Dojin has done so far was just take Hyuseng out shopping for clothes for the pregnancy.Because he wants the baby.He cares about the kid.Not necessarily Hyesung.
He gave him a big bear some candy and flowers so what?
He is just taking his share of responsibility like an adult man.That's all.

On the other hand Hyesung's behavior its normal considering his situation his hormones,his sudden situation and enormous responsibility. And then someone asks him to have an abortion.He reacts like any other young inexperienced person would react.
He is with a man he doesn't really love and he knows for sure that Dojin doesn't love him either.

Anyone would think leaving an unwanted baby to its rich father who wants it in exchange for some money just a little boost for his future.
All I'm saying is that Hyesung is not a horrible person for some of his actions and decisions. He is sympathetic.I understand where he is coming from.
Dojin had been spoiled all those years.Its time for him to experience a little "harsh" part of the real world.He has been overprotected his entire life.
Those are my points that both characters have their reasons.
No need for putting blames and accusations towards any of them.

It does seem that Dojin thinks he can buy Hye-sung. Hye-sung has been made financially dependent on Dojin (as he can't afford those medical fees) and is materialistic so for the moment is enjoying the gifts). All of this is superficial though, Dojin is getting his baby, and in the short term is able to keep his musical muse in his house and satiated with gifts. "Love" hasn't came into it yet, so the title is fitting.

Actually chapter 5 page 16 Hye-sung is only 20, still an adult but a lot younger than his “If you hate me that much” counterpart.
Dojin is like 5 or 6 years older than him though in both continuities I believe so he should be about 25/26

Thanks, my mistake I was basing their ages on their "If you hate me that much" versions, which place them at 27 and early 30's.
