I believe it's because of licht being the previous owner. Not to mention asta congered up his grimoire from his inner strength. While everybody else was given their's, which means asta is special. Hope this helps.

Hmm... So anybody can use asta's sword as long as you have a VERY strong powers like licht? .. Or is it because licht was the previous owner of the grimoire? ..I'M CONFUSED(〜￣△￣)〜
