Well actually I feel like she is slowing changing people's mentality around her...
Sure there is still a looong way to go, and without the "men" in her life she can't do much but... she is training them hard, they don't respect her yet, but they care about her. Compare to how women are normally treated, it's progress? Plus I'm not sure her scumbag/daddy is going to let be married this easily...
Man it really sucks for her. All she is good for is a thing to be married off. Time and time again dhe is told she can't do anything because she is a girl. Not only that but she is a Mary Sue character so it gets pretty annoying.
