My thoughts exactly! The grieving process is one of the lowest points for people, so if any relationship can survive that, well, there has to be at least some genuine feelings there too.

everyone is talking about using the uke as a replacement or what if he was in love with uke whole time and not brother. A more realistic idea would be that he grew to love the uke as they supported each other through the grieving process and his love for the dead twin isn't lessened or changed. of course yaoi isn't known for realistic relationships
