i think it's better that chanyoung didn't tell heesu, because maybe it will ruin their friendship
and heesu will not be comfortable being with chanyoung anymore
Thank you royal_otaku for stating a side no one ever though about. I read these comments and came into story ready to hate chan. I gearing up to surse the boy out every chapter. Yes, he's a bit of a fuckboi, but other than that when he revealed his plan, I was like oh... that's it???
Everyone is hating on Chanyoung, but he's not malicious at all. He gave a bit of thought to this.
Yea, its a dick move to try and get your friend to give up on you by being passively mean, but he still thinks of Heesu and likes him. So to maintain their friendship while also getting heesu to give up on a hopeless love, he's trying to make heesu from a second lead who scores no one to an MC who wins a boyfriend who will like him.
Heesu has already stated he is too scared to try and confess and even now after seeing how chan will NEVER LIKE him, never gave up. Finding a new love would be so much better for him. Chan is a bit of a selfish person, but at heart he thinks of heesu.
Chan is trying to make the situation a win-win for them both, instead of a possible lose-win or lose-lose.

Though, Chan is still wrong for the gf and date advice things. I now get why he bothered asking heesu for advice about dates, to try and drive home the "not gay" point by making heesu participate in his heteroromantic love life. Preeeeeetty dicky, but when you drop a hint like 10 times and they ain't picking up, desperate times calls for desperate measures, I guess............... ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I’m kind of annoyed at Chanyoung right now? I mean yeah, he’s not into Heesu, and that’s clear, but he doesn’t directly tell him, “Hey, I know you’ve liked me for while, but I’m just not into you.” Or something along those lines instead of just distancing himself from Heesu a little. I feel like him helping Seung-won win over Heesu will work, but I also think that Heesu will find out, and that he’ll be hurt that Chanyoung had knew his feelings all along but didn’t say anything about it, and instead tried to make him fall for someone else.
