Yes but what if that becomes the final straw for DG? Like, before Alex can do anything, DG manages to sort of "fight back" saying he isn't the person he envisions him to be and he's had enough?

Yeah same. I'm also hoping DG will confide to Chanwoo what's going on. We already know Chanwoo actually helped him out with asking Alex a better more private place to have sex, and we know Chanwoo is somewhat suspicious of DG's partner when he stays over at his house. Hopefully, Chanwoo will help him realize the relationship is toxic by saying something like "that guy's crazy! He might look nice and be famous, but he's just using you, can't you see, DG? Dump him at all costs!"
