Fitting ending

Is that the end? Well, i guess it is kind of a fitting ending. A screwed up secret relationship born out of rape, only to result in a tragic loss that breaks apart a supposedly happy family, when Haruki decided to finally tell the truth. That left everyone in regrets, especially both Hikaru & Haruki as they are now inevitably entwined in a cruel twist of fate where they share the responsibility of causing the mother's death... I get why Haruki couldn't leave Hikaru alone despite all he had done, & I also get why he couldn't be with Hanabusa senpai... Both Hikaru & Haruki are indeed, in a sense, a partner in crime. Whether they continue to be in a sexual relationship or not is anybody's guess... But if I have to take a pick, I'd say probably not. As messed up as Hikaru is, he still loves his mother. And as broken as Haruki is, he still harbors some sympathy for his screwed up little brother. But the fact that they did cause mom to die will probably weigh more than anything. The tie that binds them is now one that won't be easily broken, but will cause them misery to the end. And Hanabusa understood this as well, as he helplessly watched the finale unfolding. The inaction was not because he was too passive, but because he knew that nothing could be done. It is kind of poetic how all of this come together to form this ending. It is not a happy ending, as everyone ends up with regrets/sadness, but I'd say it's a very fitting one. Bravo to the author for coming up with this gutsy ending. This is not something you normally see in typical mangas of any genres. I'm just sad that the real victims out all this are actually the mom & the unborn baby. They just got swept up in very bad situation, & had to pay the ultimate price...
