So her mother gave her some parting words and her face never changed because she achieved "permanent" face change.
BUT what if that wasn't actually her mother but Nogiku's mother. It was stated that Kasane's mother went back to her father's home on the day of her dead, the place where Nogiku's mother was being kept. Maybe she set her free so she could run away with Kasane and be reunited with Nogiku but then she died. What if there is no way to permanently change face??? (⊙…⊙ )
This is all theoretical and I'm going to look for Raws now to see if I'm right because I AM VERY IMPATIENT! （/TДT)/
