Why? As a character he is reactive, and a bit selfish at times. He does have his flaws, such as trying to get his 1st year university crush to break up with his long term partner for him. Or how he can't just ignore the bullies in his uni, but instead chooses to ignore Lihaun all because he jumped to conclusions.

Lihaun hopefully wont be used as the rebound for Yuyang's unrequited crush, and he for whatever reason has gone out of his way to help Yuyang without getting much thanks in return (instead he was basically put down by him). Hopefully Yuyang will reflect on his words, apologise and then give Lihaun some sort of hope (because it's yaoilogic, their gonna end up together regardless).

Well, he thinks it didn't happen in real life (as Lihaun never said anything) so at the moment he is saying it's okay that he had a dream about him and Lihaun. Meaning he doesn't find the idea of them to be that bad.

It was a scene to show that Yuyang is alright with having dreams about Lihaun, meaning a possible progression in the plot regarding their future relationship.

well if you are in the same situation, kissing a friend you don't have feelings for is not really something you want to happen, right?

and you do realize that at this point it is still one-sided "crush", right? lihuan may or may not have realized it himself that he likes yuyang....yet. (he said it himself he doesn't know if he likes yuyang BUT his actions say otherwise)
