To heteronormalize gay relationships

And these are those same ppl who complains about ukes being too girly, I can't with hypocrites ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Exactly.

Also, in SK. China, Japan same sex marriage and gay couples adopting etc is not yet legal, nor a social norm so there isn't the same frame of reference for showing a same sex couple get wed and have kids, like elsewhere in the world. Also, it does mean that one male character essentially gets to take up the female role, because yaoi usually reverts to that rather problematic view that in a same sex relationship someone must be more masculine the other more feminine which is a bit odd. Ultimately, maybe it's just easier for authors to show such life stages like marriage and kids through this "omegaverse" setting rather than present things that are going against the current laws and acceptance in their countries. Maybe...

Because there are some same sex couples that feel like they miss out having a natural child because they can't have one with genes from each couple. It throws off the balance of the relationship and one partner might feel like they miss out on child bonding. Just like anything else, male pregnancy, or pregnancy between two women, is a fantasy created to fill a wish or void. Like, what's up with obsessed people who are obsessed with vampire and werewolf romance? Are people going to say it normalizes beastiality? Or people that enjoy wizardry, would people say it normalizes the supernatural? Maybe, people more like to imagine they can experience greater things in life than those bound by nature.

Who tf wants to see gay men pregnant?
Yaoi men who can get pregnant (omega) are never labelled as 'gay' by that universe for that matter.
Don't use earthly terms and conventions for fiction please.
The reasons are same as one can be obsessed with boobs the size of 200kg in 30 kg girl or dicks on a FUCKING girl! or even fucking weapons called "infinity stones" able to destroy half of the universe in a snap of fingers (why? What's with people's obsession for self-destruction?) Or call the earth flat OK?
Or creating airplanes when human couldn't fly...
We humans like to think of and create things what the nature hasn't made possible....

Yeah....so it heteronormalizes it. You just explained it perfectly. To fill in the void to become a heterocouple who can have children.

Yeah....it's not natural for two men to get pregnant so one takes the role of a women....so it heteronormalizes it....
What's with the obsession to see gay men pregnant?
