This story could have had a lot of potential, especially with the behind story.. maybe like an actual conversation with the brother that he had always been gay and was frustrated that his brother came out first for example. Or how the seme seems to actually never loved any of the women he dated. So much personallity growth potential. The general story was really bad but the drawings were nice!
I feel the story being a complete disorder... is like the mangaka has an idea but didn't know how to traduce it in the manga...
Also I can't feel the characters emotions, they are too 2D and even after just read the story I don't remember much about it...
I agree with both of you! I really wanted to like this because I could see the potential in the story, it's like the author started to write storylines for each chapter and just failed to find resolution for them, and then failed to include the finishing touch of giving them actual personalities and just focused on how passionately in love they were. they started off with a bantering relationship which just fell apart as the story went on and nothing important was added. great art though
the art is great and they were pretty surface level cute but i had a few problems
1. they never talked directly about the ex-gf miki and how intimate she and the seme are calling each other by first name (i know they stopped after they got called out but..) and her answering his phone. just overall intimacy that was uncomfortable to watch - wish the seme/uke talked about this so seme could correct his behavior and maybe let miki know they shouldn't be like this and they both stop. they seem to be too good of friends - there was some buildup for this drama and not much closure besides uke saying i want you to be mine alone, which.. doesn't address this directly
2. the seme bullying the uke wasn't cute and i know he was trying to get a reaction but it was one sided and made the uke look pitiful
3. uke basically let seme do whatever he wanted - not that seme did anything terrible except #1 up top but he was kind of a doormat and just did whatever seme wanted and had nothing to hold onto for his own
4. i read the whole thing and don't feel like i got much of their personalities out of it, beside that they're both good looking and love each other, not enough substance
