
That's what I felt too. But it wasn't Pyeongcho-nim's fault, they did great in presenting the story in image form, they follow the story really well. In my opinion, the original story itself is a bit lacking; the ending is very anti climactic that I was left thinking "what? that's it?! all this happened bcs of that?!!!". The sudden change in characters' personality and pov was too abrupt. Also, the premise of undercover mission was underutilized imo; the choices and decisions made by the characters were too unbelievable to come from an adult, experinced police officer (I think the author, Mayne, need more research). But the story DID confey the message clearly, that all this is a self-discovery for our budding gays.
So, yeah, hold on till the end. Just wish they give is more raunchy scenes than what we have now to soothe the dissapointment.
