Completely agree. As soon as the chapter ended I was like Yay good for her and then I read a comment saying how slow it is and they can't take it anymore and then my mood fell off the side of a cliff.

The weird thing is every time and I mean every time there is an update we have this "interaction". At this point I wish there was a button to hide comments as just like you said it has been established that it will take years for this to finish. I wonder is it better to ignore it or address it at this point....
You clearly haven't read some of the Author's work. TBH this manga was my first of this author and then tried her other works. I find her quite idle and sometimes lazy, she has slowpaced manga's as well and then suddenly she ends it like wtf.
I know she might not do it with this since this is one of her famous works but their might be a chance it will, she is around 50ish and this started around 20's and with the manga's pace? I'm just bracing myself for disappointment and hope she will not end it badly.
I actually did read her other work and it's the same. It may have been completed faster but it completely made sense and I also don't think it was that fun as a whole but that's got nothing to do with this one. If you're bracing yourself for disappointment, save yourself the trouble and just stop. Because complaining about it won't help and ruining for other people won't make it better either.
I hope I can but I have a habit to finish reading those that I have started even if I find it cringey. IDK, its just me, and not just mangas I have a book collections as well. The only way to stop me from reading a series is if the work was discontinued, ofcourse how can I still hope to finish it?
And can't we not voice out our concern? Saying us to stop this and that sheesh you must be new, stop being a sissy and think lowly of other people saying that we might ruin it for them, because in reality however these people read bad comments they willh still try it and see it for themselves. By "ruining" I didn't mean "discourage from reading" I meant "piss happy ppl off" cuz that's exactly what you guys do. You think we don't know it's slow compared to other shojous? Cuz trust me, with every other comment complaining about the pace, it's rather obvious. You would think if it's such a waste of time to read it, you would just forgo the commenting but no. You have to go and be negative, regardless of the fact that there are ppl who are completely happy with the pacing and are ecstatic after reading a chapter. And idk about you specifiaclly, but most of you guys don't do it cuz you're "concerned" but just to bitch and moan about something you can't control. And to those ppl, I suggest dropping it or just accepting it. Cuz it's not like the author is gna read the comments and just rush the manga. I am also being honest here.

I have read this since I was in 1st or 2nd yr HS and now I already finished 5 yrs in college and is working but the mangas pace is still stuck and with the mangakas age anyone will really question if this manga will finish or will be rushed like her other mangas. I have read this mangas for so long and yes we always voice out about the said concern because clearly we are already hooked on the manga some of us are just bracing ourselves for atleast a good ending and the manga not be stopped is that so hard to understand?
What's hard to understand is why you can't trust what you've been reading and just enjoy It? I mean if you're going to continue reading it anyways, why "bitch" about it in the first place? I think the choice is pretty simple. Either you continue reading with the trust that it won't let you down (because no development has been a disappointment so far) or put it down.
To those who're complaining about the pace: everyone knows. It's already been established that this manga doesn't focus on a quick get together. The statistics on how long it's been going on is also clear. There's really no need to complain, especially if your going to keep reading it. It just ruins ppl's good moods after the new, amazing update that revealed moko's new part - YAY for her - and gave us another cliffhanger *cries* before ren and kyoko have a phone convo which will, undoubtedly, be super sweet and cute, all while they're still not together. If you actually care about the content, there's no need for them to be together yet. They're still giving us a bunch of feels without it! And if any of you have forgotten, even if it's been 15+ years, it's been less than a year since kyoko met ren in the story and barely a month since she's started to have feelings for him
