I don't think it will? I don't follow the authors, but I used to think the same, maybe two years ago? Best just to give in and pray for updates like the rest of us! It's worth it!!
it's slow burn (in the best way), the chapters are short so the story moves on the slower side, it's still good though. but if you want it to be complete then I'd say.. come back in two years maybe lol. there's a time skip which seems to be incoming (which won't make much sense explaining to you now), and after the time skip is when the couples (there are two) get together officially. I'd suggest for you to just wait it out until it finishes.
