I think why so many people are cheering for Junseo is that we can see his thoughts and how much he cares. I have no idea how Karam thinks, but yeah definitely not a bad character. But personally a trope that I don't like in Japan, (though I don't know about the Koreans), is that the first love in the story is usually the person they stay with or becomes their 'true' love
I think its not about who the first love but the first girl/guy who give big impact for the mc Takafumi
that's true. I'd love to read stories where the characters can experience more than one impactful or healthy relationship. It's more realistic. If anyone has recommendations, I'd love to know!

I don't know if I ever hated Orihime, but she was certainly not as developed or interesting as Rukia. Rukia stole my heart from the get go.
