    The sunshine policy is a doctrine between North Korea and South Korea to become more peaceful with one another. It's based off of Korean tradition of giving enemies gifts to prevent war and or harm.

    The carrot and stick is a metaphor relating to the carrot as reward and the stick as punishment. And it's never a problem!!
