So far from what I can tell, they are seke. Cuz when they were about to do it the other way, uke>SEME realized that seme>UKE is still not ready for the real deal (realistic) and he bottomed. Basically he wants to do it as top as well but he doesn't mind being the bottom.
I hope its not just a role reversal but an actual seke couple instead. Cuz then it would still fall in the stereotype and that'd be underwhelming. Seke couples are already rare in yaoi and plenty of authors only tease about them and rarely give realistic take on it
