I started reading when I was 12, but I don’t remember if it was smut. I was always exposed to that kinda stuff early in the first place. Though younger readers (in my opinion) are kinda toxic and were definitely exposed too early LOL. Keep your kids safe from the smut.

Nah, less than 13. I started when I was 14 and I see no reason why I shouldn't have. You don't have to be super mature to read BL. That's when you usually start to get interested in sex and stuff anyways.
