Yeah you are not wrong. DG was told that but if the person you like acts too cold to you, you cant help but feel a bit sad. It is not like DG ask for being treated more kindly or anything, i think it is just his natural reaction.
And because alex already warned DG from the beginning, i also think that he is not that bad with that behavior.

I disagree with you. Because the entire reason for DG getting his Hope's up is because Alex is expressing emotions of that of a crush. He hides behind his emotions by denying what they really mean. The jealousy, subconsciously trying to make DG feel better by doing things when he acts like a jerk to DG. That's why it is frustrating because we all know Alex likes him but, he is just denying it over something that probably happened in his past.

I would have totally agreed with you... but.

a) although, DG expects to have a relationship with Alex, but he never pushed beyond. I mean yeah he thinks they're being in a relationship and stuff, and assumed (mistaken) Alex' approach as 'affectionate', but he never complained why they don't go that far. He didn't push Alex to be in a relationship with him. Because he only thinks what it's like to be with Alex. It's okay right? To be told not to expect anything, but still you expect something and get hurt, but not exactly 'complaining' the idea to the other person and DG is just being love sick with Alex.

Hmm, fair point. It's correct that DG assuming these things are all on him (I think we both agree on this one). But still, Alex ignoring DG, that's something else. If he knew that DG starts getting these weird thoughts on his head, he should have given him closure and ended their FuBu relationship on the spot.

I've read the raws. If Alex did 'that' regardless whether he's intoxicated or not, I'm still calling him an asshole if he told DG afterwards that he only remembers his ex.
