I legit thought it was a polite way to speak to elders (Koreans always have to talk politely which I respect highly)
I just thought it was polite and showing gratitude nothing more,
Sure that people can be really unpleasant sometimes ... you are able to make a discussion for anything, only cause he/she said "take care of me"... maybe he said it because it's a formality of his culture or maybe because he wants to imitate manga characters, but in any case what do you care about? And then what would you mean with cultural appropriation, seriously? o.o everyone uses their habits wherever they are, as long as they don't harm others, it's normal o.o and in the case you were just trolling ok, if you have fun like this...
